The Spice Girls are reportedly bagging £1 million each from Netflix to film a new documentary series about the group.

The Spice Girls are reportedly earning £1 million each for taking part in a new Netflix documentary about their success.

The five-piece - Geri Horner, Mel C, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Victoria Beckham - remain the biggest-selling girl group of all time and next year will celebrate 30 years since their formation.

Rumours abound that they could reunite for a new tour - most likely without Beckham - and perform a set at Glastonbury, which could form the centre-piece of the documentary.

A source told The Sun: "The pop legends are excited to mark the milestone celebration and think this is the perfect way to do it.

"The documentary will have high production values, and the performance ideas are being explored, with Glastonbury 2024 being an obvious option.

"Getting all five women to the table is a huge coup, and fortunately Netflix has deep enough pockets to entice top talent.

"They're all proud of what they achieved in the band and are excited to look back at old footage and relive fond memories.

"The finer details are being ironed out and a performance of some kind will be the icing on the cake."

The group last performed together, albeit as a foursome, in 2019.
