Alan Carr / Disney+
Alan Carr will be able to use the official title Baron Alan Carr now that he has bought Ayton Castle in Scotland.
The Celebrity Traitors winner, 49, has exchanged his current home to take up residency at a castle and is documenting the process for a new Disney+ series.
The 19th-Century abode is based near the Scottish Borders and comes with 16 bedrooms, a miniature railway and 160 acres of gardens.
Carr, who plans to transform the castle into a luxury hotel and spa, also gets the title of Baron – a perk which dates back to 1324.
“I have bought it,” he told the Staying Relevant podcast. “Someone said someone else has bought it but, no, I have.
“I haven’t been this excited about a project for ages. I’ve got the survey now and I’m waiting for the keys to come.
“I’ll be a baron and I’ll be getting my own tartan – I might get a nice man up there.”
The Disney+ series is due to be released next year.
