After finding no luck with surrogacy agencies, Charity asks an overwhelmed Victoria if she will be a surrogate for Sarah, telling her that she’s the last chance that Sarah has.

When Cain’s surrogate from the agency fails to show up, Ryan tells him that he’s been scammed – and fuming with his own naivety, Cain takes out his anger on the pub.

Charity’s left mortified when Robert storms in and berates her for asking Victoria to be Sarah’s surrogate, reminding her of the trauma of Victoria’s last pregnancy. Sarah’s fuming to discover that her gran went behind her back.
Later, as Sarah resigns herself to not becoming a mum, Charity impulsively offers to be her surrogate.


John is full of dread about Nate’s upcoming funeral but is distracted when he spots that his next appointment at the surgery is with Owen – the man who spiked Robert. Later, Robert’s shaken to see John throwing Owen out of the surgery and thanks him, but he’s still distrustful of his brother.

Cain has a go at Charity for offering to be Sarah’s surrogate and not telling Mack about it yet.

Tracy refuses to let the Dingles attend Nate’s funeral but gets a surprise when she learns that she’s entitled to her late husband’s life insurance.
At the pub, Nate’s memorial commences – but unable to cope with his grief, Cain gets angry at Tracy for stealing his chance at a final goodbye. Caleb manages to calm him down but he is surprised by the sudden arrival of Nate’s mum Cara, who angrily confronts him.
Later, Sam learns that Tracy is getting Nate’s life insurance money and informs Cain, who tells Tracy that he will be at his son’s funeral whether she wants him there or not.

The Dingles arrive at the funeral en masse and an argument breaks out. John appeals for a truce between the two sides and in the process, he ends up being roped into delivering the eulogy rather than Tracy.



Cain is overcome with emotion as he describes the pain caused by the loss of his son. With DS Walsh present at the funeral, John struggles to deliver the eulogy…


At the vets alone, Paddy is coping well until a customer with a large dog arrives – and overwhelmed with fear, he decides to shut up shop.
