How would you describe your cooking style?
“It is vegetarian, very eclectic and without boundaries. I love to experiment with flavour profiles from around the world and experiment with ingredients that shouldn’t necessarily be on the same plate. My inspiration comes from other countries, Portuguese Chef, João Alves and my fiancée, Maya who is a superb cook as well as a love of feeding people.”
What is your favourite ingredient to cook with?
“Garlic. I don’t believe there can be too much of it!”
Why did you take part in the show?
“I entered as it seemed like a fun thing to do! Maya and I were swimming in a river in Spain and she suggested it; I jumped into the idea with both feet.”
Would you like to work professionally in the food industry?
“I would love to run supper clubs, possibly have a food truck and maybe one day a small restaurant. I want a professional avenue that enables me to cook for people who share a love of food.”
