Sunday, June 7

A nervous Daniel welcomes in the social worker, who has a chat with Bertie. Later, Daniel apologises to Adam and Alya, telling them that he’s fairly confident he knows who called social services.


Will admits to Hope that he’s considering giving up athletics because it just reminds him of Megan, but Hope advises him that he’ll be letting her continue to control him if he gives up on something he clearly has a talent for. Sam watches their interaction, his mind in overdrive.


Gary feigns ignorance when Kit quizzes him about Todd’s phone, leaving Kit convinced that he knows more than he’s letting on. Meanwhile, Todd gets a call from the prison to inform him that Summer has been admitted to hospital. When he visits her, he’s horrified when she admits that she turned off her insulin pump because she just can’t cope with life in prison.


Also on Sunday: David accuses Jodie of stealing Harper’s five-month milestone card after it goes missing.

David treats Shona to a romantic meal and a gift box containing Harper’s ultrasound photos, her hospital bracelet and a baby onesie.

Sam imagines Roy telling him to rid himself of Will once and for all, but when Sam replies that he’s not a violent person, ‘Roy’ accuses him of cowardice and ends their friendship.


When Asha, Nina and Todd visit Summer in hospital, she breaks down in front of them and admits that she’s dreading going back to prison.

Unable to bear the weight of his guilt over Summer any longer, Tyrone admits to Fiz that he did see Summer on the night of Theo’s murder and knows she’s innocent but lied in order to save his own skin. He explains that he was filming Carl tampering with Kev’s brakes on his phone but then accidentally knocked the car jack, leaving Carl crushed underneath. Fiz tells Tyrone to hand over his phone, but what will she do next?

Christina, Glenda and Sally surprise Debbie with the news that they’re taking her on holiday to Spain.

Gary apologises to Maria for standing her up at Speed Daal last night, but they’re interrupted by the arrival of Kit and Lisa, who tell Maria that they’d like to go over some details in her statement again.


A confused Sam heads to The Rovers, where he finds an oblivious Will alone in the back room playing a shooting game. Sam hears Roy warning him that Will is going to kill him too and runs out as a concerned Will follows after him. Sam runs into the café and locks the door behind him.
With Will outside knocking on the door, Sam encounters two versions of Roy – the real Roy and his imagined version of Roy.



After Sam goes running again, Carla finds him in a state of fear in the Precinct and does her best to calm him while calling Nick. When Nick and David appear, Sam makes a run for it and Carla explains that she believes he’s suffering from psychosis.
