A comment from Rex makes Leela suspicious that he might already know about Ste’s affair with James, and when she shares the information with Ste he’s left panicking. Meanwhile Ro decides to tell Rex the truth but is stopped in his tracks and goes to drown his sorrows at The Hutch.
Over at The Dog, Ste and Rex host a pre-wedding dinner and, as Darren plays the guitar with everyone huddled near the fireplace, Ro suddenly bursts through the door determined to protect Rex and stop the wedding…
Elsewhere, before being discharged Frankie goes to see Vicky, who berates her for lying about her identity to Caleb. Frankie admits that she fancies him and Vicky encourages her to come clean, but will she?

Knowing that she is about to die, Diane records nursery rhymes for Eva that reflect on her happy memories in the village. Tony and the kids bring the party to her as they do their best to cheer her up.
After she goes to bed, Diane listens to Tony and her kids singing a nursery rhyme to Eva as she passes away peacefully.
