Vinny feels sidelined after attending a birth-planning appointment with Penny.

Denise ignores calls from Walford General, not wanting to start her treatment until she’s ready. A desperate Jack opens up to Phil about the situation and they try to come up with a way to get through to her.



The Fox-Truemans do their best to support Chelsea and Jordan following his accident.

The family celebrate Kim and Howie’s engagement in The Vic, although Chelsea clocks that Denise is distracted. Denise panics when Jack and Phil arrive, terrified that they will reveal her diagnosis, and after a wobble, Denise herself announces her diagnosis to the pub, leaving everyone stunned.




Also on Monday: Kathy comforts Ian, while Honey spends time with Billy, relieved that Bea has moved out to stay with Mo.

Denise returns home and gathers herself before finally getting back in touch with the hospital. Chelsea calls Libby as the family promise Denise that they will keep everything running smoothly at home during her month on the ward.
Later, Libby arrives back in Walford to support her mum and shares an emotional moment with Chelsea. Denise heads to the hospital to begin treatment, determined to survive for the sake of her family.





Vinny admits to Penny that he feels pushed aside before reaffirming his commitment to her and asking her to move in with him.
