When Abi calls in to Speed Daal for a takeaway, Idris insists on paying for it. Meanwhile, Ollie’s deflated when he runs some menu ideas by Alya and it’s clear that she’s not keen.
Ronnie tells Ed, Michael and James about his struggles with Debbie – and when Dylan arrives to take their order, Ronnie’s short with him and Dylan takes it personally.
Richie calls round with a holdall, explaining to Tim that his wife Rachel has thrown him out. After introducing his cousin to Sally, Tim admits that Richie stayed the night after they got drunk and Sally agrees to let him stay a little longer.
Sarah’s rattled when a tough-looking inmate shoots her daggers. Later, when Bethany visits, she’s horrified to see bruises on Sarah’s face.

Adam tells Alya that she’s missed an important deadline and really needs to choose between the restaurant and her legal career. Alya calls in at Speed Daal and informs Leanne that she’s decided to sell her share of the place to an old friend of the family.
Sarah tells Kit that she loves him – and that’s why she’s finishing things between them so that he doesn’t have to sacrifice his career.
After Sally tells Tim that she wants Richie gone, Richie decides to go stay with a friend in Liverpool – but as he leaves, Tim urges him to go home and talk things over with his wife.
Later, Tim heads to Richie’s after discovering that he left behind his wallet and when Richie answers the door, he’s clearly disorientated with a blood-stained shirt. A horrified Tim surveys the scene inside and calls the police…

Tim and Sally are still stunned by the events of yesterday. When Lisa calls round, she reveals that Richie has been charged with the murder of his wife and their daughter, Lucy, has been taken into care.

Nick and Toyah warn Leanne that Idris put the frighteners on potential buyer Gavin, but will she believe them?
Tim learns that Lucy’s foster placement has fallen through and arranges for her to stay with them without consulting Sally first. Social worker Ruth arrives with Lucy and explains that the youngster is suffering from grief and trauma and needs reassurance.
Later, Lucy does a runner but Sally and Tim find her at the bus stop and persuade her to come home.

Sally and Tim are awoken by a loud scream – it’s Lucy, who was suffering a terrible nightmare. Later, when Lucy ignores Lily, Lily brands her a freak – and Lucy responds by grabbing her arm until Jodie intervenes.
Sarah opens up to fellow inmate Kacey about her son and how grateful she is to her ex-partner for stepping up to the plate. Sarah’s shocked when Kacey reveals that it’s common knowledge that her ex is a copper, but Kacey assures her that she will keep an eye out for her.
Also on Friday: Alya promises to think about it when Idris offers her 35 grand for her share of the business.
