Oscar winner Olivia Colman is reportedly in talks to join Samuel L Jackson in new MCU spinoff Secret Invasion.
The new six-part show will see Jackson’s Nick Fury deal with a group of aliens called Skrulls – first introduced in Captain Marvel – who have been undercover on Earth for years.
Ben Mendelsohn, who played Talos in the film, will also reprise his role for Secret Invasion and according to Deadline, he will be joined by Colman in an undisclosed role.
Kingsley Ben-Adir, known for Peaky Blinders and One Night In Miami, is also on board and is likely to play the main villain.
Secret Invasion is expected to begin filming in the UK later this year ahead of the show’s release on Disney+ in 2022.
