Roman Kemp for Premier League Friday / Sky
Roman Kemp has been named host of the Friday edition of a new weeknight Premier League programme on Sky Sports News.
Called The Premier League Show, the new show will air on SSN from Mondays to Fridays, from 5pm to 7pm, and feature the latest news, in-depth reports, interviews and analysis.
Julian Warren and Emma Paton will alternate hosting duties from Monday to Thursday, with Kemp hosting the Friday edition, which will also go out on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event.
“Football means more to me than anything,” said Kemp, a former breakfast host on Capital. “To be a part of a show like this building up to the biggest games in world football is a real privilege. I can’t wait to get going and as a fan, do this show justice.”
The new show will launch on the first day of the Premier League season – Friday, August 15 – ahead of the curtain-raiser between Liverpool and AFC Bournemouth at Anfield.
