How would you describe your style of cooking?
“I would describe my style of cooking as simple and wholesome with a focus on quality ingredients to make relatively simple, tasty food for my girlfriend, friends and family. I’m influenced by many cuisines, but I cook mostly British, Italian and French style dishes. I would, however, love to learn more about Middle Eastern cuisine.”
What is your favourite ingredient to cook with and why?
“I love cooking with pasta, it’s so versatile and everyone loves it. I also like to cook with beef, there’s so many things you can do with it, especially on the BBQ.”
Why did you enter MasterChef this year?
“I entered MasterChef because I had always loved the idea of it. I recently turned 30 and my priorities have shifted to doing things I enjoy.
“I have always loved cooking and thought that MasterChef could open up some amazing opportunities for me. I started to gain traction on my social media cooking page and could see a real path to making a living through it.
“It’s also such an iconic TV show and I thought it would be so cool to take part, even just for the experience/memories!”
MasterChef returns Wednesday at 8pm on BBC One.
