Sky Sports USGA
Sky Sports has extended its broadcast deal with the USGA by a further five years, guaranteeing coverage of the US Open until at least 2030.
The agreement will see Sky remain exclusive home to the third men’s Major in the UK and Ireland via its dedicated Sky Sports Golf channel.
Also included are the next five editions of the US Women’s Open on the LGPA Tour, as well as the men’s and women’s US Amateur Championships, the US Senior Open and the Curtis Cup.
Sky has been home to the US Open for the last 29 years and reportedly faced off “credible” competition from Netflix in the latest rights deal.
The broadcaster holds the vast majority of golf rights in the UK and Ireland, including all four men’s Majors, all five women’s Majors, the Ryder Cup, the PGA Tour, the DP World Tour, the LGPA Tour and the Ladies European Tour.
