Lil Nas X has been hospitalised in Los Angeles after he was discovered roaming the streets in his underwear in the early hours of this morning, it has emerged.
The 26-year-old rapper – known for hits including ‘Old Town Road’ and ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’ – is seen in a video catwalking down the middle of Ventura Boulevard wearing just a pair of white Y-fronts and white cowboy boots.
Concerned passers-by alerted police at around 5.50am PT (1.50pm UK) and upon arrival, officers “subdued him and put him in handcuffs” after he allegedly began charging at them.
According to TMZ, which broke the story, the police then passed the star on to paramedics for what they thought could be a “possible overdose”, before he was transported to hospital for treatment.
Earlier this year, the rapper sparked concern from fans when he posted a video of himself from a hospital bed claiming that he had lost control of the right-hand side of his face.
Representatives for Lil Nas X have yet to respond to requests for comment.
