Kevin tells Carl that he’s cancer-free but a confused Abi attempts to set Carl straight by explaining that Kevin needs another round of chemotherapy.
A guilty Dee-Dee collects Laila from James and heads off to the christening, celebrating with godparents Alya and Adam. But will James discover her deception?
Lisa’s sceptical as she heads for her therapy session and is thrown into turmoil when the therapist suggests that they talk about Becky.
Also on Thursday: Maria officially reports Gary as missing to the police and admits to Sarah that he hasn’t made any bank transactions since June 23. Word reaches the Street of a coma patient at the hospital, sending Summer and Nina into a panic, but it soon emerges that the patient isn’t Gary. Meanwhile, in the hospital a woman is informed by a nurse that “Chesney” is making improvements. Cue flashbacks…

Aadi gifts Lauren an air fryer and offers to help her move into the flat, but she worries about his motives and rejects his assistance.
A guy called Ollie sees Dee-Dee in the Rovers and insists on buying her a drink before chatting her up, leaving her charmed. Meanwhile James informs Dee-Dee that he’s set the adoption wheels in motion.
Abi tells Kevin that he has to tell his family “the truth”, so he makes out to Debbie and Tyrone that his cancer hasn’t really gone at all and he needs further chemo. But later, Tyrone is stunned when Kevin reveals his double deception – his cancer has gone.
