Sally calls in at the café and is unimpressed when she sees Lucy, having bunked off school, enjoying a drink with Christina. Sally orders Lucy home before making it clear to Christina that she needs to keep her distance until social services have given advice on the next steps.
Jodie plays things down when David raises concerns that Doug has taken the toaster and the biscuit tin. Meanwhile, Shona admits to Bethany that she fears for her own mental state as she keeps hearing Harper cry when she isn’t there.
After Jodie calls Doug’s doctor and says that her dad is a threat to their family, the mental health team arrive to assess him. As Doug is taken away he warns Shona to watch her back with Jodie. Later, when Bethany catches Jodie red-handed, Jodie has just the plan to keep Bethany quiet.
Also on Monday: Summer rushes to the hospital when she hears that Marco has been involved in a car accident, but when she arrives, she learns that Marco had been operating as a getaway driver.

The scene is set at the Bistro for Shona’s birthday party – but when Lily’s phone is plugged into the docking station, the room is suddenly filled with the sound of Harper crying. Shona accuses Lily of making the recording in a bid to convince her that she was going mad, but Lily swears blind it wasn’t her.
When Sam calls at Speed Daal after school, Leanne tells him that she’d like him to start working at the restaurant. Soon afterwards, Sam emerges from Speed Daal clutching Idris’s credit card…

At the hospital, the chemo nurse talks Kit through the side-effects of his treatment and urges him to tell his boss as he won’t be well enough to work.
Later, when Kit calls in at the station, Lisa has a go at him for failing to answer his calls – but she’s left stunned when he reveals that he has cancer. Lisa promises Kit that both she and the force will support him with whatever he needs.
At Speed Daal, Sam prepares to enter Idris’s credit card details into the crypto app but is started by the sudden arrival of Idris, who takes back his bank card. An embarrassed Sam explains that he was hoping to make enough money to pay everything back – but how will Idris react?
Also on Friday: Kevin and Ronnie ponder whether the shooting at No.8 involved Fiona’s missing gun, while Todd reluctantly offers Summer a lift to visit Marco in prison.
