The Traitors star Freddie Fraser’s mum Kate has supported him with gushing pride after he came out as bisexual.
The 22-year-old, who took part in the third series of the treacherous reality show, revealed last month that he is bisexual and is in a committed relationship with male model Bailey Ramsden.
Since the BBC show aired, Fraser has been working as a content creator and an aspiring TV presenter – and has now returned to university to do a Masters degree in broadcast journalism.
Posting on Instagram, he explained that his uni experience feels different now that he is out, telling fans: “Doing a masters at 22 and being bisexual has actually been such a blessing in disguise.”
He continued: “To be so open with [classmates] about who I am, my identity and all that, without even feeling that theyโre going to judge me. Itโs A, progress, and B, I feel like Iโve reclaimed a part of myself that used to be so scared.”
Among the commenters was his mother Kate, who wrote: “As your mum Iโm so proud of you watching this Freddie..
“when you told me I was petrified โฆ petrified that people might be mean to you, like when you was at school, and the thought of that broke my heart.
“I couldnโt have been more wrong .. your friends have showed me that times have changed .. and seeing you this happy honestly makes me the happiest mum on the planet ..”
