Sam Fender, Lola Young added to Brits performer lineup

Sam Fender and Lola Young have been named as the final two artists in the performing lineup for this year’s Brit Awards.

Previously announced acts for the ceremony – due to be held at The O2 on March 1 – include Jade Thirlwall, Myles Smith, Sabrina Carpenter, Shaboozey, Teddy Swims and The Last Dinner Party.

Two-time Brit winner Fender said: “Me and the band are so excited to perform at The BRIT Awards this year – we can’t wait to get up on that stage again!”

Meanwhile, Best Pop Act nominee Young, who scored her first UK number one last month, said: “I am super excited and grateful to be performing at The BRIT Awards this year.

“It’s a dream come true and an absolute honour to share this moment alongside so many incredible artists. To be nominated is a huge achievement for me and I’m so thankful for all the support I’ve received.”

Charli XCX leads the nominees at this year’s awards, with five nods, while Dua Lipa, Ezra Collective and The Last Dinner Party are up for four apiece.
