Tom Holland’s chef influencer brother Sam Holland has joined Cooking With The Stars as one of the professional mentors for the upcoming sixth series.
The cooking competition pairs up celebrities with professional chefs in a series of cook-offs, with weekly eliminations eventually leading to one being crowned the winner.
The show has been a steady hit for ITV over the last few years – and this year the show is airing in a new half-hour format, Monday nights at 7.30pm over 10 weeks.
The number of celebrities taking part has consequently grown from eight to 12, with this year’s participants announced as:

- Dame Laura Kenny, Olympic champ
- Caroline Quentin, actress
- Karen Hauer, ex-Strictly Come Dancing pro
- Seann Walsh, comedian
- Zara McDermott, TV presenter
- Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, Gladiators star
- Mark Charnock, Emmerdale legend Marlon Dingle
- Joey Essex, reality TV star
- Bez, Happy Mondays ledge
- JB Gill, presenter and JLS star
- Lesley Joseph, actress and hun
Tom Allen and Emma Willis are back as hosts, alongside returning professional chefs Jack Stein, Poppy O’Toole, Rosemary Shrager, Shelina Permalloo, Michael Caines, Tony Singh and Elliott Grover.
The five new chefs include Holland, inaugural Great British Menu winner Kate Austen, The Dorchester’s chef patron Jean-Philippe Blondet, Humble Chicken chef patron Angelo Sato and Fallow’s chef-in-residence Nokx Majozi.
“I’m thrilled to be back in the kitchen for the sixth series of Cooking With The Stars,” said Willis. “Year after year our celebrities continue to outdo themselves, surprising us and the audience with their culinary capability.
“This year we have a jam-packed line-up, with four additional celebrities competing compared to last year. With a fuller kitchen, there is bound to be even more fun, commotion, and kitchen disasters!”
Allen added: “I admire our celebrities’ confidence to showcase their cooking prowess by preparing dishes for a panel of esteemed chefs.
“Emma and I are joining forces again to unleash a brand-new season, there’ll undoubtedly be spectacular wins and downright catastrophes (fingers crossed it’s just slightly burnt, not inedible!). Get ready, let the delicious chaos commence!”
The new series of Cooking with the Stars begins next Monday, October 5 at 7.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
