Dylan begs Ray to let April quit dealing, but Ray manipulates him and promises to have a word with the “big bosses” himself. Dylan agrees that April should keep dealing so that they pay off their debts quicker.

Vinny’s shocked when he learns the defence plans to call Gabby as a witness and lies to her about what the case involves. After some thought, Vinny decides to withdraw as a witness in order to protect his marriage.

Kim starts off opposing Vinny’s adoption of Thomas, arguing that it would erase Jamie from his life, but Vinny and Mandy convince her that having a dad will mean so much to Thomas.

Soon though, Vinny’s handed a fresh problem when Mike arrives in the village demanding Gabby’s money as “compensation”. Vinny strikes a deal to keep Gabby out of it in exchange for him testifying and blowing the prosecution’s case apart, but unbeknownst to Mike, Vinny intends to tell the truth in court.

Celia scares Paddy with a cruel joke about his dog attack, but after Moira tells her she needs to fix things, she manages to charm him round.

Robert finds himself in a self-induced tricky situation.

Also on Wednesday: Ray keeps up the pressure on April, while Aaron forgets that today is Grace’s birthday.

Gabby gives Vinny a chance to come clean, but he digs deeper. Later, Vinny’s in court and comes face to face with the man who terrorised him, Mike, and starts to stand up to him. But when Gabby enters court, Vinny panics, just as he’s about to admit to meeting Mike on a forum for people questioning their sexuality. Will he be able to go through with it?
