The Celebrity Apprentice will return for two specials this Christmas in aid of Children in Need.
The specials will be set in Lapland and feature 12 celebrities trying to raise as much money for the charity as possible.
The challenge will see the celebs tasked with creating a magical festive biscuit, which they will then have to pitch to some of the UK’s biggest retailers. The biscuits will then be available for British consumers to buy in the run-up to Christmas.
Lord Sugar is joined in the process by Karren Brady as well as Mike Soutar – a familiar face from The Apprentice‘s dreaded interview stage – as a stand-in for Tim Campbell, who was unable to make the filming dates.
“We are delighted to announce The Celebrity Apprentice: Christmas Specials,” said executive producer Paul Broadbent. “Not only will the two special episodes be immensely entertaining, but the biscuits made and sold in the lead up to the show airing will be raising vital funds for BBC Children in Need – it’s a win win.
“The Apprentice has always been the ultimate test of business acumen and resilience. Now, with well-known faces stepping up to the challenge, we can’t wait to see how they fare under pressure.”
The identities of the 12 celebrities in the lineup will be revealed in the coming weeks.
