Max and Ben are fuming at Ian, who is hoping that he will be getting a glowing write-up in the Gazette. Ian's gloating is short-lived, however, when the police show up and arrest him.
When Kathy rushes to Ian's aid, he immediately tells her that it's her fault he got arrested, prompting her to deliver some home truths. Peter attempts to make Bobby see that Ian is in the wrong and they won't be happy until he is out of the picture.
When Ian is back on the Square, Rainie confronts him about telling Whitney about the surrogacy plans. Ian bites back and Stuart is none too happy.
Later on, Ian lies motionless on the floor in the Vic after a vicious attack.
