The identity of Meena's first murder victim has been revealed on this week's first-look Emmerdale episodes on the ITV Hub.

In shocking scenes, Leanna (Mimi Slinger) was pushed to death on her 18th birthday by a callous Meena (Paige Sandhu).

As the guests awaited her arrival for a big party, Leanna was getting ready at her house when Meena suddenly arrived and demanded back the rucksack Manpreet had unwittingly given to her.

A curious Leanna then looked into the bag and was stunned to find the missing Pride collection box, which Meena had stolen to frame Jacob (Joe-Warren Plant).

Meena tried to claim that she had been covering for Jacob, but Leanna wasn't buying her excuses - and became even more suspicious when she found Meena's 'bits box' containing a hair bobble, a lighter, a dog toy and a newspaper article titled 'Woman found dead in suspicious circumstances'.

"She was found dead in her car yesterday after inhaling carbon monoxide fumes," Leanna read. "Police suspect foul play."

Meena revealed that the girl in question was her best friend Nadine and, losing herself for a moment, she gasped: "I didn't mean for her to die!"

The penny then dropped for Leanna and she dashed out of the house with Meena in pursuit.

"Spiteful little snoopers don't get to walk away," Meena snarled as she stalked Leanna in the church graveyard before confronting her on the bridge.

In a horrific twist, Meena then pushed Leanna over the bridge and onto a rock below. As Leanna lay clinging to life, Meena slowly approached her and began taunting her in her dying moments.

"Oh dear. Should I call for an ambulance? I'm not sure they'll get here in time," she remarked. "Such a tragic accident, you tripping and falling like that. But then again, that's what you get for running off in killer heels."

Leanna then took her last breath. "Ahh, bless, I was right not to bother the emergency services," said Meena. "Nothing they could do."

Before leaving, Meena took the engagement ring given to Leanna by Jacob and put it on her own finger. "Thank you birthday girl," she said, getting up and walking away. "Laterz! Or maybe not."

Emmerdale is available to watch now on the ITV Hub.
