Judge Rinder to replace Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain?
Judge Rinder's Robert Rinder is reportedly an option to replace Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain.

Judge Rinder star Robert Rinder is reportedly in the running to replace Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain.

Morgan dramatically quit the show after more than five years earlier this week amid a backlash over his fierce criticism of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

According to The Sun, ITV is looking at trialling several potential long-term partners for Susanna Reid in the coming months and her close friend Rinder is a potential option.

"The dynamic between the two presenters would be instant because they have been good friends for years - even going on holiday together," a source told the newspaper.

"Though he is often associated with light-entertainment shows, Rob is a no-nonsense lawyer who has the intellectual gravity to tackle any subject.

"And viewers know he will bring a flamboyant element to GMB as well as a sense of fun."

The newspaper also suggests that ITV might opt against making a permanent replacement for Morgan and instead have a rotation of co-hosts such as Richard Madeley, Ben Shephard and Adil Ray.
