I'm A Celebrity to launch new spinoff show The Daily Drop

Vick Hope will host a new spinoff show to I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! called The Daily Drop alongside this year's series.

The upcoming series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! will be joined by a new spinoff show called The Daily Drop, it has been revealed.

This year's show will be broadcast from Gwrych Castle in North Wales rather than the Australian jungle due to the coronavirus pandemic, with the series still on track to begin next month as usual despite new social restrictions being introduced in the country.

Every previous series of I'm A Celebrity has been accompanied by a spinoff show on ITV2 but earlier this year the broadcaster announced that it had been axed to make way for a new offering.

According to The Sun, a new show called The Daily Drop will be released on the ITV Hub every morning following on from the previous night's show, with radio DJ Vick Hope presenting.

The 30-minute show will come from a virtual studio and feature celebrity guests giving their thoughts on the latest action from camp.

The lineup for the new series is expected to be confirmed early next month.
