The American Music Awards have taken place at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles, with Taraji P Henson hosting in front of a limited audience due to coronavirus.
The Weeknd and Roddy Ricch had the most nominations, with eight apiece; but in truth the AMAs is always more about the performances than it is the awards.
The biggest names from the music world took to the stage, with performances on the night from the likes of Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes, Katy Perry, Megan Thee Stallion, Nelly, Jennifer Lopez, Billie Eilish, BTS, Dua Lipa and Doja Cat.
