Alison Hammond to land Saturday night chat show?

This Morning host Alison Hammond reportedly films a pilot for a potential new Saturday night talkshow.

This Morning's Alison Hammond could reportedly front her own chat show for ITV.

The 45-year-old has been a firm fixture on the ITV daytime series for the last 17 years as the show's resident showbiz reporter and celebrity interviewer.

According to The Mirror, Hammond has recently filmed a pilot episode for a new show called Happy Hour.

The newspaper says that the series is under consideration for Saturday nights, with Hammond confirming: "There's exciting things coming up."

Happy Hour could timeshare a slot in the ITV schedules with long-running talker The Jonathan Ross Show, which is back for a new series this autumn.

Meanwhile, Hammond has also landed a new role on BBC Radio 2 filling in for Rylan Clark-Neal on his weekend show.
