Cat Deeley has reportedly fronted a pilot for a new ITV gameshow being earmarked for a primetime Saturday night slot.
Having launched her career alongside Ant and Dec on SM:TV Live, the 43-year-old moved to the US and has hosted FOX's So You Think You Can Dance for the last 14 years.
According to The Sun, however, Deeley is now looking to land her first UK presenting role in years after moving back to the UK last year.
"Cat is a huge name and found fame on ITV so to welcome her back would be a real coup for the channel," a source told the newspaper.
"She was approached to front a new gameshow. It's a big-money game and is a totally new concept that's not been seen before.
"Cat filmed the pilot on Saturday and it was a really successful day.
"If the pilot is given the green light, the dream is to get Cat signed up as the host and launch it as a series.
"Her team are negotiating a big deal but nothing is signed just yet. The show is perfect for a Saturday primetime spot and is really family friendly, so it's totally on-brand for Cat."
Deeley will also be seen alongside Ant and Dec in a special SM:TV reunion programme later this year.
