Lea Michele dropped by HelloFresh after bullying allegations

Food company HelloFresh terminates its sponsorship with Lea Michele after allegations of bullying are levelled at the Glee star.

Lea Michele has lost her sponsorship deal with home food delivery service HelloFresh in the wake of bullying allegations levelled against her over the weekend.

Samantha Marie Ware, who worked alongside Michele on the final season of Glee, accused the actress of making her time on the show "a living hell" in an angry post on Twitter.

Several of Michele's other co-stars from the BAME community have not directly added their contributions to the allegations but have been noted to 'like' disparaging comments about her, while main star Amber Riley (Mercedes) has posted a cryptic GIF appearing to reference the story.

Yesterday Dabier Snell, who had a small role in an episode of the show, accused Michele of telling him that he "didn't belong" at a lunch break table with the other actors.

Taking to Twitter, he wrote: "GIRL YOU WOULDN'T LET ME SIT AT THE TABLE WITH THE OTHER CAST MEMBERS CAUSE 'I DIDNT BELONG THERE' F**K YOU LEA YOU DON'T GIVE A F***K"

HelloFresh, which has a paid sponsorship deal with Michele to promote their range on social media, acted quickly to terminate the deal.

In a statement, the company said: "HelloFresh does not condone racism nor discrimination of any kind. We are disheartened and disappointed to learn of the recent claims concerning Lea Michele. We take this very seriously, and have ended our partnership with Lea Michele, effective immediately."

Michele, who is currently pregnant with her first child, has yet to comment on the allegations.
