Essex Police release an unnamed man on bail following his arrest on suspicion of assaulting Katie Price.

Essex Police have confirmed that a man has been released on bail following his arrest yesterday on the suspicion of assaulting Katie Price.

The 43-year-old former glamour model was taken to hospital in the early hours of Monday morning following the incident at a property in Essex.

The man, who is in his 30s but cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested and held for questioning but was let go on Tuesday morning.

A spokesman confirmed: "A 32-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assault, theft and coercive and controlling behaviour has been released on bail until September 20."

Last night Price said that she was left "in shock" by the alleged incident, which she claimed was "unprovoked".
