Another couple eliminated ahead of Strictly Come Dancing semi-final

Another couple is eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing ahead of the semi-final.

JJ Chalmers and Amy Dowden have become the latest couple to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing.

The pair had finished bottom of the leaderboard on Saturday night, receiving a score of 20 out of 30 for their Charleston to 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang'.

Craig Revel Horwood had been critical of Chalmers's performance, describing it as "too stop and start" and calling on the former Royal Marine to be "goofier" during the routine.

Made In Chelsea's Jamie Laing and partner Karen Hauer had also found themselves in the dance-off but earned a reprieve from the judges and will now compete in next week's semi-final.

HRVY, Maisie Smith, Ranvir Singh and Bill Bailey also remain in contention ahead of the final on December 19.
