Stephen Fry reportedly agrees to take part in the upcoming celebrity edition of The Traitors.

Stephen Fry has reportedly agreed to take part in the upcoming celebrity version of The Traitors.

The BBC recently gave the official go-ahead to a spinoff of the duplicitous reality show, with a nine-episode order for an expected broadcast in late 2025.

According to The Sun, show host Claudia Winkleman made national treasure Fry, 67, her top choice of celeb contestant and he has responded positively to an approach.

"Claudia put Stephen right at the top of celebs she'd want on The Traitors and Stephen has made it clear he'd be game," a source told the newspaper.

"Stephen is a fan of the show and Claudia was desperate for him to be in it.

"No contracts have been signed yet, but he told the show's bosses to name a time and date and he'll be there."

A third series of the main show was filmed over the summer, while the BBC has already commissioned a fourth run.
