The penultimate episode in the current series of Line of Duty drew the show's record overnight audience last night.

Early ratings figures show that the episode averaged a mammoth 10.97 million viewers - a 51.7% share of the audience - for BBC One in the 9pm hour, beating the 9.92m record set just last week.
