Moira and Cain on Emmerdale on February 6, 2026 / ITV
Natalie J Robb has signed a new deal to stay on Emmerdale as Moira Dingle for at least another year.
The 51-year-old is approaching 17 years in the role and is currently embroiled in a storyline that has seen Moira wrongly accused of double murder.
Having been framed by the now-dead Celia (Jaye Griffiths), Moira will be sent to prison in this week’s episodes pending her trial.
Speaking to The Sun, Robb revealed: “I’ve been lucky enough just to get another contract so I think they would obviously have to say, ‘Sorry, you’re going to be leaving and this is gonna be your out.’
“So when they just told me about the story I didn’t think that I would be leaving.
“I just didn’t really know how long I was going to be in [prison] for, and how serious the allegations were going to be at that point.”
Emmerdale streams weekdays from 7am on ITVX and airs at 8pm on ITV1.
