James Austin Johnson crossed over from SNL US to SNL UK tonight by appearing as President Donald Trump.
The cold open to the episode – hosted by actor James Norton – featured Prime Minister Andy Burnham (George Fouracres) holding a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky (Freddie Meredith) at 10 Downing Street.
Their conversation was interrupted by the arrival of Trump, who begged Burnham for a job swap while also realising that he could say the word “shit” uncensored.
