Eugene Levy and Jason Biggs in American Pie 2 / Universal Studios
American Pie star Jason Biggs has admitted that he would “love” to reunite with his old castmates for a fifth movie.
The comedy saga began in 1999 and followed Biggs’s character Jim Levenstein and his teen friends after they make a pact to lose their virginities before high school graduation.
Sequels followed in 2001 and 2003, with the fourth film – American Reunion – coming out in 2012.
Asked about the possibility of a fifth, Biggs told The New York Post: “There’s always talks. “There’s always rumblings. I can tell you that I’d love to get back with everybody and do another one if it’s the right story.”
He continued: “I think it would be so much fun. I love playing that character. I love working with those guys and gals. Everybody is just – it’s family, you know?
“So I’d love to do it. And honestly, I feel like enough people ask and there’s enough fans. Nostalgia is big right now.”
Biggs’s co-star Thomas Ian Nicholas – aka Kevin – revealed in 2024 that a script for a fifth film had been written but negotiations to make the movie subsequently fell through.
