Naledi Rapotu as Kathleen-Angel McQueen in Hollyoaks / Lime Pictures
Naledi Rapotu has taken over from Kiara Mellor in the role of Kathleen-Angel McQueen in Hollyoaks.
The cast change comes ahead of a big new storyline for teen Kathleen-Angel, who has unprotected sex with classmate Ant Hutchinson (Brook Debio).
“I’m really grateful for the opportunity to join the cast of Hollyoaks, it’s a great place to work and a very nurturing environment to grow,” said Rapotu, who has previously appeared in ITV’s Significant Other.
“It’s been a pleasure to play Kathleen-Angel as she develops into a young adult. We’re learning new things about her and I’m excited to be able to present a different side of her.”
Rapotu’s first episode of Hollyoaks is this Tuesday, March 17, available on Channel 4 streaming from 7am and on E4 at 7pm.
