Ryan Gosling in Project Hail Mary / Amazon MGM Studios
Ryan Gosling space action movie Project Hail Mary opened on top of the UK and Ireland Box Office over the weekend, knocking down Hoppers into third place.
The film delivered strong receipts of £7.4m for the number one spot, while Indian movie Dhurandhar: The Revenge also made a decent debut with £2.06m for second place.
Elsewhere, Hoppers added another £1.23m for a total of £9.51m and horror sequel Ready or Not 2: Here I Come opened at five with underwhelming receipts of £615k.
