Non-league footballer Tom Stagg is reportedly in the lineup for this Summer’s edition of Love Island.
The 23-year-old, who plays part-time as a striker for Brentwood Town, is already friends with multiple former Islanders via his events company Pascha House.
“Tom is in advanced talks to join the pool of Islanders to appear at some point in the series,” a source told The Sun.
“As always, no-one is officially on the show til they’re in the villa. But Tom makes the perfect Islander – he’s in great nick, got great chat, is fun and fit and bosses reckon the girls will love him.”
Stagg would join a lineup that is also thought to include fellow footballers Aidan Murphy and Galway-based Gaelic player Sean Fitzgerald.
The new series launches on ITV2 on Monday, June 1.
