Jessie J has revealed that she has been diagnosed with cancer at the age of 37.
The singer – known for hits including ‘Price Tag’ and ‘Do It Like A Dude’ – broke the news to her fans in a post on Instagram.
“I was diagnosed with early breast cancer,” she said, adding: “Cancer sucks in any form, but I’m holding on to the word ‘early’.”
She went on to reveal: “I’m not processing it because I’m working so hard. I also know how much sharing in the past has helped me with other people giving me their love and support and also their own stories. I’m an open book.”
The singer is currently working on her first studio album in seven years, which is due to be released later this year.
