Archie and Kerry try to execute another a scam on Caleb using AI Steph but are caught in the act by a disapproving Pollard. Meanwhile, it dawns on Caleb that he’s been conned out of 5 grand by someone masquerading as Steph and decides to call the police.
Manpreet checks in on Charity, who lies by claiming that her recent woes are a result of post-natal depression. Later, an isolated Charity washes down sleeping pills with wine.
Caleb tells Billy that to regain his mojo he’s going to start a counterfeit goods operation out of the depot and tries to get Billy involved with a percentage cut.
Kyle takes the Army cadet oath at his swearing-in ceremony but is disappointed when he sees that his dad’s chair is empty. Meanwhile Cain bursts into the Woolpack toilets and is mortified by the wet patch on his trousers. Charles clocks the situation and returns with a pair of clean trousers as a humiliated Cain finally accepts help.
Cain arrives at the swearing-in ceremony and admits the truth about his accident to Kyle, who reassures him that he’s not embarrassed and is just pleased he came.
Sarah feels guilty that her nan’s supposed post-natal depression has been caused by the surrogacy. She’s comforted by Mack, who consoles her as she sobs over the situation.

At the hospital, Cain and Moira learn that while the surgery was successful, the tests show that it’s highly likely that the cancer has spread beyond the prostate, requiring further surgery in a few months’ time. She also confirms that as a result of radiotherapy, his current side-effects could become permanent.
Caleb pressures Billy into joining their dodgy side-hustle with an 8% cut of the profits but warns him to keep it secret from Jai. Later, when Caleb tells Jai that he thinks the scammer is someone they know, Jai grows concerned that Archie’s name keeps coming up. Jai confronts Kerry, but will she ‘fess up?
