Monday, June 22

Jai’s suspicious about what Caleb and Billy are up to, while Caleb’s preoccupied with his theories about Jai and Kerry.

When Cain and Charity bond over their respective struggles, she advises him to open up to Moira and Liam but then refuses to talk about her own problems. Later, when Mack attempts to speak to Charity, she gets overwhelmed and speeds off in her car, utterly broken.

Ross gets a message informing him that Lewis has been abducted, warning that there will be consequences unless his dad returns ‘Penny’ to the kidnapper. Left with no choice, Liam is forced to tell Ross that Kev is Lewis’s biological dad.
A woman called Kylie approaches Ross and reiterates that Lewis will only be returned when Kev hands over Penny, the “most precious thing in the world”. Liam convinces Claudette to tell him Kev’s whereabouts and they soon find him selling cakes from his van. Kev tells them that Penny is a diamond he sold to a pawn shop, but later when he’s alone, Kev is seen looking at Penny around his neck.

On the verge of a breakdown, Charity stands at the edge of a lake staring blankly into the distance. When a stranger suddenly appears, she realises that Charity is clearly in a state of distress and attempts to help her, but when the stranger touches her, Charity responds by decking her. Coming to her senses, Charity apologises profusely but the stranger is understanding and suggests that her reaction was due to being touched without permission.
Meanwhile, back in the village, a distraught Mack calls the police – but when he asks Chas if she knows anything relevant that he doesn’t, how will she respond?

Being held captive by Kylie, a terrified Lewis asks her if she plans to kill him – and her enigmatic response only heightens his panic.
Meanwhile, Kev claims to Ross and Liam that he bought back Penny from the pawn shop, but a suspicious Ross responds by knocking Kev unconscious, explaining to Liam that he intends to use Kev as an insurance policy.
