Delta Goodrem for Strictly Come Dancing 2026 / BBC
Aussie popstar Delta Goodrem has said that she is “absolutely thrilled” to be part of the celeb lineup for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
2026 marks a major turning point for the long-running BBC ballroom show as producers introduce new hosts, new dancers and a new production setup.
The celebrity lineup is being drip-teased over the Summer, with reality star Dani Dyer – forced to drop out last year due to injury – and former EastEnders actress Lacey Turner now joined by Goodrem.
The 41-year-old got her big break on Neighbours before enjoying a successful pop career and just last month she represented Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest, finishing in fourth place.
In a statement, she said: “I’ve been incredibly honoured to perform on many different stages throughout my career – from tv, theatre, film sets, to touring my own shows around the world, there is however one stage I’ve never stepped onto and that is the ballroom floor! I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Strictly and can’t wait to get started!”
The new series begins on BBC One in September.
