Freddie Flintoff and Richard Ashdown for Bullseye: Soccer Aid Special 2026 / ITV
ITV has confirmed that the revived Bullseye will return for a new series with Freddie Flintoff.
The popular ’80s gameshow, which combines darts with quizzing, was brought back by ITV in 2024 with Flintoff as host and Richard Ashdown as the scorer.
Initially commissioned for a one-off Christmas special, impressive viewing figures – around 7 million – led to a full series following late last year.
Speaking about the new series, Flintoff said: “It’s great that Bullseye still has a special place in the nation’s heart, as it does mine, and I loved bringing it back on TV screens. I can’t wait to see what a new season brings.”
Katie Rawcliffe, ITV’s director of entertainment commissioning, added: “Bullseye is a cherished format which has proved incredibly popular with viewers since its return, undoubtedly helped by Freddie. We’re thrilled to be bringing another series to screens later this year.”
Casting for the new eight-episode series is now open online, with filming due to take place in late September ahead of a broadcast in the run-up to Christmas.
