Toy Story 5 / Pixar
The fifth instalment in the Toy Story had a stellar opening weekend with receipts of over £15 million at the UK and Ireland Box Office.
The film pulled in £15.36m – more than the opening weekends of the previous four films and accounting for three in every four cinema tickets sold.
Steven Spielberg’s divisive Disclosure Day was down to second in its second weekend, adding £1.72m for a gross to date of £9.08m.
Elsewhere, Michael edged up to a gross of £52.42m and The Devil Wears Prada 2 hit £34.13m.
