Aaron Thiara has quit his role as Ravi Gulati on EastEnders after four years.
The 33-year-old made his Walford debut in 2022 as the newest member of the extended Panesar clan and has been involved in huge plots including running a drugs ring, pushing his dad to his death and suffering a mental health breakdown.
According to The Sun, Thiara has now decided to bow out from the soap and will make his on-screen exit in early 2027.
“Aaron has been at the centre of the some of the soap’s biggest storylines since his arrival as bad-boy Ravi back in 2022,” a source told the newspaper.
“He’s an incredibly popular member of the cast and the fans love him.
“He’s decided to focus on new projects, but will stay on set until the end of the year to see out some juicy storylines his character has in store.”
The news comes a week after it emerged that Kellie Bright will be leaving her role as Linda Carter after 13 years early next year.
