Cleo learns that Sienna is back in the village after a holiday with the twins. Mercedes is wheeled past Cleo for chemo and she tells Cleo to stay away, resulting in Cleo having a panic attack.

When Ste wakes he finds Rex looking after Clara and James – and when Ste tells Rex that he’s grateful but doesn’t need a nurse, Rex admits that he’s finding it hard to stay away. Meanwhile, Lucas tells Dillon that he wants nothing more to do with him or Rex.

Elsewhere, John Paul grows concerned about how much he and Jez communicate, while Arlo stirs trouble as Tony cooks a family dinner at The Hutch.

Ste and Lucas bicker as Ste tries to figure out why Lucas turned to drugs and Lucas admits that he thinks Rex is trouble. Lucas finds himself unable to admit the truth to protect Dillon.

Also: Leela unloads her concerns about Cleo and Joel to a therapist named Tommy, while Arlo continues to fill Ro’s head with dark thoughts.

After getting some advice from Tommy about how to make things work with John Paul, Jez decides to propose…
