Min: “Fred is stoic, he’s like a dog with a bone. He will not give up! I’m a trier, I’ll give everything a go and give it my best shot.”
Fred: “I’d describe myself as happy and the best thing I can ever do for anybody is make them smile! Min is a fiery redhead.”
Did you have a strategy going in to the competition?
Fred: “Bluff them, blag them and fake it til you make it! It was our last hurrah!”
How would you spend the prize money?
Fred: “Wisely!”
Min: “Unwisely! We need a new van, so it would go on that.”
Fred: “Grow old disgracefully.”
How did you decide who to trust and be wary of?
Fred: “We were wary of everybody!”
Min: “I was terrified of saying the wrong thing. We were finding our feet so didn’t have time to mingle as such.”
