Plans for a seventh Final Destination film are moving ahead following the success of the most recent instalment in the franchise.
Final Destination Bloodlines – the first movie since 2011 – pulled in over $286 million (£213m) at the worldwide box office, significantly outperforming every other film in the horror saga.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, production company New Line has charged Bloodlines‘ co-writer Lori Evans Taylor with penning the script for FD7.
Also returning are producers Craig Perry, Sheila Hanahan Taylor, Jon Watts, Dianne McGunigle and Toby Emmerich.
Details of a plot, production dates or an estimated release date have yet to be disclosed.
