Picture Spoilers: This week on Coronation Street (September 14-18)

This week on Coronation Street, Jodie ramps up her manipulation of Shona, who starts to worry that she’s losing her mind and those around her grow concerned.

Meanwhile, Kit continues to live life dangerously following his diagnosis, Tyrone and Ross’s relationship turns sour and Summer gets a new admirer.

Kit brings a woman back to the flat but when she tries to kiss him he admits that he’s not in the right headspace and she storms out, just as Bethany emerges…

After a stressful morning, Shona falls asleep on the sofa with a cake for Lily’s school sale in the oven. Jodie watches on with glee from the garden as smoke fills the kitchen, before David and Doug arrive back just in the nick of time.

At The Rovers, the lads mock Ross after Tyrone relays a story he told about UFOs. Ross tries to mask his annoyance.

Also on Monday: A lad called Marco compliments Summer on her drawings, but when she heads to the toilet, he rips a page out of her notepad and leaves.

Tuesday, September 15

Trying to make amends, Tyrone invites Ross and Tracy to join him and Fiz at the Bistro and when talk turns to relationships, Ross makes scathing comments about Tim’s cousin Richie claiming that he had been abused by his wife. Will Tyrone react?

A guilty Bethany visits her mum in prison and informs her that Kit has moved on. Meanwhile, Michael celebrates being given Sarah’s old job of assistant manager at Underworld.

Summer finds Marco outside of the tattoo shop but when she accuses him of stealing her design, he admits that it was just an excuse to see her again. He explains that he wants to buy her drawing and invites her for a drink – will she say yes?

Also on Tuesday: Jodie secretly replaces the water for Harper’s bath with boiling water from the kettle – and when David tests the water, he yelps in pain before berating Shona.

Arriving back home after lunch with David, Shona hears Harper crying but finds the annexe door locked. The whole experience leaves her scared and confused.

Summer tells Amy and Asha that she’s agreed to go on a date with Marco but still has reservations. Meanwhile Asha admits that she’s nervous about returning to work and seeing Sienna again.

Also on Thursday: Ross asks Tyrone for forgiveness after his crass comments, while Ben gets concerned by a video of Susie dancing and singing posted on the Rovers’ website.

When Carl reminds Debbie that she was supposed to meet Ronnie for dinner, he listens in with concern as Debbie calls Ronnie and lies that she got bogged down at work.

Also on Friday: Summer arranges another date with Marco, Shona becomes convinced that she’s hearing things and Ben is unhappy when Glenda tells Susie that she’s a star in the making.
