Comedy actor Freddie Meredith has joined the cast of Saturday Night Live UK for its second season.
The sketch show is back this weekend with its entire ensemble cast from its debut season, including George Fouracres, Jack Shep, Ania Magliano, Al Nash and Paddy Young.
Meredith – known for Big Boys and Such Brave Girls – said of joining the show: “It’s a no-brainer, it’s the most iconic comedy show and it looks like so much fun.
“It will undoubtedly inform everything I do for the rest of my career and I can’t wait for the experience. It’s SNL!!!”
The season premiere airs this Saturday night at 10pm on Sky One in the UK and Ireland, with guest host Jeff Golfblum and music act CMAT.
